HAS A PLAN
Apple’s biggest ambition is to make every product carbon neutral by 2030 using 100% recycled and renewable materials. Communicating this to skeptical Gen-Z consumers, NGOs, and governments required focus and honesty. My partner and I led the team to narrow the website’s audience to customers while directing fact-checkers to detailed reports. Writers turned data from Apple’s Environment Report into relatable innovation stories while designers created a playful system used across Apple. By centering product not solar panels or promises we set Apple apart and transformed a compliance site into a reason to choose Apple products you love that also love the planet.
